CodeLA charges nothing to join or to use. The site has no shop, subscriptions or paid features, and it cannot take payments or store card details. Nobody should ever ask you to pay to use it. If someone does, please contact the organiser of CodeLA as described on the contact page.
If fees are ever introduced
Before any payment is taken, this page and the terms will be updated to explain the price, what it covers and how to cancel and get a refund, and you will be asked to agree first. Your statutory rights would always apply, for example the 14-day right to cancel many online purchases that consumers have in the EU and the UK (with special rules for digital content and services that have already started).
